INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY 2019

Another year we will celebrate with you the International Day of museums. This year, the day is framed within the theme “Museums as cultural axes: The future of tradition” in which reference is made to the role we have to play as centers committed to the community beyond our main function of knowledge space and dissemination. For this year we propose a series of activities in which through creativity and play we can all celebrate this day.

We remind you that the activities listed below will be completely free and you do not need to sign up in advance. In addition, residents of the island of Fuerteventura will have free access.

Workshop of artistic creation and experimentation, based on the forms and their reinterpretation. The protagonist of our work of art will be the Majorero cheese, but represented in an abstract way, using lines and geometric shapes and playing with color and textures. Painting, wool, cardboard, spray, gofio and paprika will be the ingredients for this 100% majorera work of art. How would Picasso do it? How would Kandinsky do it? How would you do it?
