Every 18th of April since 1982, it is celebrate The Day of Monuments and Historic Sites. Year after year, this date increases its popularity between cultural institutions all around the world. This date was announced by ICOMOS, a dependent organization of UNESCO, and they works for save the monuments. They want to raise awareness in how important is the cultural heritage for us as society.

This year the Salt Museum, the Majorero Cheese Museum and the Windmill Centre of Interpretation are going to celebrate this day by the theme Re-discover your landscape. The next 17^th, 18^th and 19^th of April, are propose tree sessions in which the cultural heritage is the main character.

As an alternative of our main activities, we are going to have meetings with local majoreros, which will carry us to a not so far past, a series of micro guided tours in three museums explaining how important as cultural value the environment of each place is. As high point of these activities, we propose through our Instagram to participate in a draw of one set of our products and two combined tickets to visit our museums.
